Day 304-

I am a householder.

My Meditation Practice

One thousand feet above the ground for a month!

It would be easier to meditate each day if I did not have the family, or work, but that is just an excuse.  I’ll just come out and say it.  I have dropped the ball!  I have spent the last month in a skyscraper,

They got me! I got sucked in!

and my meditation practice has crashed to the ground!  I got all caught up in the tension, in the deadline and it made my Awareness quest seem so unimportant in comparison.

And last night I partied, celebrated, got blotto, had fun, forgot the tension.

They got me.  I have to confess.  My hope was that I would be strong enough to walk in the valley of the shadow of the money wizards and not lose myself.  Well, I did not lose myself completely!  But… I did lose myself a bit, it is so easy to get distracted in the buzz and churn of activity.  In turn of the century England it was probably easy to get in the mind set of the conquerer, in China today the entrepreneur mindset, if you are a kid today getting into the video game designer mindset is probably easy as well, etc.  It is so easy to get swept into the human drama, to accept the prevailing reality, even if it is deeply flawed.

This is the crux of the matter, as far as I can see.  There is our biology and it creates much of the impetus for what we do.  Over the last fewwhere is the
